Queer Disabled People in History
Disabled people and queer people alike are both likely to be hidden, but both have existed for as long as humanity has - as have queer disabled people. Those who rose to historical prominence often have those parts of their identities shrouded by the world - or at least it's attempted.

Special Note regarding air quality
There are currently wildfires in Canada that have caused hazardous air quality levels in a lot of major cities. With this ongoing issue, I wanted to make a post with a few things you can do to help keep yourself safe.

Ask Aunt Lori - Asexuality
Dear Aunt Lori,
A lot of my friends are talking about having sex or wanting to have sex; a lot of them talk about not wanting to go to college a virgin. I have crushes and like to go on dates and kiss people, but I don't think about or want to have sex. I keep thinking that I'll want to when I'm older, but I still don't want to.
Is there something wrong with me? Am I broken? Should I get my hormones tested?

For today, let's do another meme dump with a queer twist in the spirit of pride month!
Because I'm me, I'll be trying to find an entire alphabet of memes to represent the "alphabet army". To save readers a lot of loading headaches, i’ll be doing it in parts: part 1 is A-L.

Chronic SOS - June 1, 2023 (birthday edition)
Kicking off the (very popular) June birthdays - happy birthday to someone who may be an academic, but is a goofy goober at heart!

Chronic SOS - June 1, 2023
In recognition of pride month, posts will mostly be LGBTQ+ related: posts about queer and disabled icons, Ask Aunt Lori topics regarding LGBTQ+ issues, and articles on the intersection of disability and queerness. There are a lot of birthdays this month too!

Ask Aunt Lori - “The Pill” and Antibiotics
Dear Aunt Lori,
I currently take birth control pills. If I get sick and take antibiotics, will my pills no longer work?

Because I love Animal Crossing, it's no surprise that I love Stardew Valley too. Em got me into it (once again, shoutout Em) and in turn, I got my mirror BFF into it.

Ask Aunt Lori - Tubal Ligation
Dear Aunt Lori,
I've had all the kids I want and I don't want anymore! I love being a mom, but I can't have a whole circus! I want to get my tubes tied, can you tell me more about it?
Enough Babies

Celebrating & Mourning My Voice
I sung everywhere: in the shower, in the car, in my room, and on stages. I've sung for graduations, competitions, basketball games, and to my dogs.
But when I woke up on February 17 of 2016, when I tried to ask my mom where I was, nothing came out.

In honor of someone's birthday, I'll be focusing on sharing some wrestling stories of Andre the Giant.

Mental Health Metal
Metal music has a bad reputation of being a generally negative genre; but behind the screaming, heavy drums and guitars, there's actually a lot of good being done.
