Special Note regarding air quality
There are currently wildfires in Canada that have caused hazardous air quality levels in a lot of major cities. With this ongoing issue, I wanted to make a post with a few things you can do to help keep yourself safe.
Stay indoors as much as possible
Invest in a good mask for times you have to go out - preferably N95, but anything is better than nothing
Check on your friends, family, and neighbors who have lung and health issues, are elderly or have children - particularly young children and babies! Check with them frequently and make sure they have access to emergency services and have an emergency plan.
Invest in a quality indoor air filter or create a DIY one if it's not financially feasible.
Change your air filter on your indoor air conditioning and heating systems regularly and consider upgrading the filters to some that filter out smaller particles
Track air quality and air quality alerts through sites and apps like IQair.
Hope this is helpful and everyone stays safe!
