About me

Hello! My name is Lori Adams and I'm from Northwest Arkansas. After years of struggling with my health and searches for answers that only brought more questions, I was diagnosed with a pineal lesion. I had a series of unfortunate events, complications, and injuries related to the benign tumor. With the help of very skilled professionals, my support system of friends and family - plus a lot of luck and determination - I was able to pull through!

I've continued to do a little bit better every day and have rebuilt my life and adapted to every change life has thrown my way. I started this blog as a way to reach out to others who are going through something that feels impossible and to let them know they're not alone. I envision this blog to be a site that empowers others like me to live their best disabled lives and a place to learn how to do that through educational posts.

Also - I know that it is emotionally draining to talk about serious issues all the time; so I've included a section called "Chronic SOS" which is a regular post to just sweeten your day a little bit before you go on your way!
