Inspirational
Most disabled and chronically ill people wince at the word, “inspiration(al)”. It seems harmless initially, but the toxic positive people and a specific breed of condescending ableists have made it anything but harmless.
Dating is hard.
Dating is hard.
That's true for everyone, but there's an extra layer of difficulty when you're a disabled woman and dating.
Lethal allergies aren't your punchline
TW: ableism, bullying, anaphylaxis

Elon Musk has an ableism problem
TW: Ableism, Aspie supremacy
Elon Musk, the richest man in the world with a staggering net worth of $238 billion, has as much money as he does controversy and problematic behaviors. Though there's no shortage of criticism I could give, I'd like to focus on his ableist views, behaviors, and remarks.

Ableism
Ableism is discrimination based on disabilities. It comes in many forms; mainly what I classify as "direct" or "indirect" . This can be seemingly obvious, or subconscious from ingrained beliefs.
Drown
As the surface nears, chains drag me down
I’ve seen the sunlight on my face
But I wear the darkness as my crown
Seen
I’m disabled every day, every night, every minute, every second; it affects every part of my life. It’s a part of me, and I’m not ashamed of it. There’s nothing immoral about my disabilities and I didn’t incur the wrath of a higher power by crimes against humanity
