Late due to technical difficulties

Coincidentally, I forgot it was disability pride month when I made my blog schedule due to brain fog from my disability. It's fitting, honestly. I'm focused on education and awareness about disability, so I'll just be doing it with some extra pizzazz!

July is also a seemingly popular birth month and three pretty cool people have consecutive birthdays, starting with today.

I've known this person their entire life and can confirm that they have been consistently a good person. I haven't dreaded seeing them at any holiday dinner, not something that can be said of everyone. We did disagree on movies to watch sometimes as kids, but that was probably the worst of it all.

In honor of their birthday, I'll be sharing a variety of animal videos.

Starting with a cat that didn't want to be outdone by dogs and learned a few tricks:

I'm impressed that they could train a cat at all!

I prefer this over a circus or carnival with clowns. Clowns aren't cute, cats are.

They're also just funny little guys - I see why you've always loved cats.

I am willing to bet that you would have cracked up if you were the news reporter; I think I would have too!

Switching gears a bit, so that I can convey how I feel about not being able to visit you in a while:

Seriously, it's been too long! I wish we could go to the zoo together, but for now:

Afterwards, it's obviously cake and presents time! I hope you don't mind that I've gotten some extra help to sing to you…

Happy birthday! Love you, miss you, and hope you have a great day!

Card with music notes on each side and "happy birthday " in the center. A flute is under it and cupcakes

Bonus, just because of our shared love of band -
